Turmeric Ground Turkey

An easy, versatile protein that works great on its own or tossed with other dishes such as a salad or veggies.

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp cilantro (chopped )
  • 2 tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp Sea Salt
  • ¼ tsp Black Pepper
  • ¼ tsp cumin
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add olive oil and turkey. Break the turkey into chunks with spatula or wood spoon.
  2. Add ¼ cup of broth, cilantro, salt, pepper, turmeric, cumin, and cayenne. Continue to break up the turkey into small pieces as you stir all ingredients together.
  3. Cook for 4 minutes. Add remaining ¼ cup beef broth, and cook for another 4 minutes.
  4. Allow to cool, then serve or store for later.
